Robert Placek - Chief Executive Officer

Robert Placek is Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board, and co-founder of Wegener Corporation. He has served as CEO of WEGENER since its founding in 1979. His career spans over forty years in the satellite communications industry. Prior to founding WEGENER, he started and managed the Satellite Communications Product Line at Scientific Atlanta. He received his Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering from University of Florida.

Ned L. Mountain - President and Chief Operating Officer

Ned L. Mountain is President and Chief Operating Officer of WEGENER. He has been with WEGENER for the past 25 years serving in numerous domestic and international sales, marketing, and management positions. He has been a member of the NCTA engineering committee and served as co-chair of the Quality Sound subcommittee. He has been involved in numerous cable-related projects including the satellite digital network control system used by major programmers as well as the satellite system used by most of the Fox Sports Networks. Prior to joining WEGENER, Mr. Mountain’s prior experience includes corporate Senior Engineer with the former UA-Columbia Cablevision, and Systems Engineering Manager for Motorola Communications. Mr. Mountain has a BSEE from the University of Pittsburgh.

Troy Woodbury - Chief Financial Officer

Troy Woodbury has served as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Wegener Corporation and WEGENER since June 1988, and as a director of the Company since December 1989. He also has served as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of WEGENER since September 1992, and as Senior Vice President of Finance since March 2002. Mr. Woodbury served as Executive Vice President of WEGENER from July 1995 to March 2002 and as Chief Operating Officer of WEGENER from September 1992 to June 1998. Prior to joining the Company in 1988, Mr. Woodbury served as Group Controller for Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. from March 1975 to June 1988. Mr. Woodbury is a CPA and has a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Accounting from Bob Jones University.

Elias J. Livaditis - Chief Technology Officer

Louie Livaditis is WEGENER’s Chief Technology Officer. He has been at WEGENER for over 20 years designing many of the company’s key products throughout his tenure. Today, he is responsible for the management of R&D, evaluating new markets and translating company strategic plans into R&D programs. Previous to employment at WEGENER, Mr. Livaditis was an engineer at Scientific Atlanta.
