The Series 1600 Mainframes are universal shelves with power supplies that accept all Series 1600 and 1700 plug-in cards. The mainframes contain a flexible module interconnect system that permits the plug-ins to be arranged in a variety of configurations for different applications while providing the required interconnections.

The Model 1602 mainframe supports 2 card positions for 1 channel of audio. Rack size is 1 3/4"H x 19"W x 13"D.

The 1605-23 Power Supply Card is a replacement for power supplies that fail in the 1601 series mainframe chassis'.

The Model 1620 Agile PANDA 1 Dual channel Subcarrier Demodulator provides two high signal-to-noise ratio audio channel ouputs. Based on the Wegener "Spectrum Efficient" narrow band subcarrier transmission standard, the Model 1620 demodulates subcarriers above video or FM squared subcarriers.

The Model 1620 Agile PANDA 1 Dual channel Subcarrier Demodulator provides two high signal-to-noise ratio audio channel ouputs. Based on the Wegener "Spectrum Efficient" narrow band subcarrier transmission standard, the Model 1640 demodulates subcarriers above video or FM squared subcarriers.

The Model 1694 Stereo Audio AGC cards provides peak-limiting circuitry to insure that composite deviation remains below +/-75 kHz at all times

The Model 1710 is a single subcarrier tunable demodulator for subcarriers generated by standard transmission techniques. Subcarrier frequency selection is crystal-controlled. The demodulator accepts composite baseband from the video receiver and provides a single audio output.

The Model 1710-14 is a single subcarrier tunable demodulator for subcarriers generated by Music Television 2 and TV Land. Subcarrier frequency selection is crystal-controlled. The demodulator accepts composite baseband from the video receiver and provides a single audio output.

The Model 1710-15 is a single subcarrier tunable 6.5 MHz demodulator for subcarriers generated by Music Television 2 and TV Land. Subcarrier frequency selection is crystal-controlled. The demodulator accepts composite baseband from the video receiver and provides a single audio output.

The Model 1712/10011 is a combined Subcarrier Demodulator and Contact Closure.

The Model 1716 is a single subcarrier demodulator operating at a subcarrier frequency of 6.2 MHz. The demodulator accepts the composite baseband output from the video receiver and provides a monaural audio output. A tone control system provides a preroll contact closure output to interface with local commercial insertion equipment.

The Model 1717-01 is a single subcarrier demodulator operating at a subcarrier frequency of 6.8 MHz. The demodulator accepts the composite baseband output from the video receiver and provides a monaural audio output. A tone control system provides a preroll contact closure output to interface with local commercial insertion equipment.

The Series 2046 Network Communications and Control System provides satellite networks with a flexible array of signaling paths for communications with and automation of their affiliates. The system uses a single low level "Spectrum Efficient" muliplexed data subcarrier for transmission and is compatible with all Wegener Series 1600 Mainframes.
