CompelConnect.com™ is a new software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering from WEGENER. It provides management tools for content distribution, scheduling, playout control and continuous monitoring of WEGENER iPump media receivers/players. Using partitioned web access, clients have access to a full-featured remote Compel network control system via the Internet.
WEGENER iPump media servers/players are optimized to be remotely commanded via Compel to store repetitive or regional content. They use sophisticated schedules and playlists to output custom video or audio channels from either live streams or internally stored files.
CompelConnect.com™ is based on WEGENER’s next generation of Compel® - an easy-to-use, powerful network control system for video, audio and data networks and allows small and medium sized networks to launch and grow efficiently.
Target audiences include retail signage, public and home-school education programs, faith-based broadcasts, and any other private networks wishing to share full-resolution, high quality video, audio and/or news & information graphics. It is ideal for corporate communication and training, as well as any application requiring the display of rapidly changing textual information such as currency exchange rates, horseracing betting odds, etc. This SaaS will also support subscription-based programming networks.
