WEGENER's DTV720 Multicaster gives video headend operators powerful multicasting options in an affordable package. It allows operators to seamless repackage off-air broadcast signals and satellite feeds into IP multicast transport streams.
The DTV720 Multicaster's flexible design supports the following options.
- Standard Configuration (2 ASI in / 1 GigE Ethernet out)
- Option 1 (4 ASI in / 1 GigE out)
- Option 2 (2 ASI, 1 8VSB in /1 GigE out)
- Option 3 (2 ASI, 2 8VSB in /1 GigE out)
A web browser provides a user-friendly interface for selecting programs for multicasts, monitoring system parameters and update software applications. Save and recall congfigurations to your PC using the web browser interface to quick change of operations.
The DTV 720 Provides quality monitoring of the streams via a web interface. Warning and alarm conditions are provided by contact closures on a rear panel connector.
Select programs from 2 ASI input streams to build up to 16 IP multicasts.
Add a dual ASI input card to provide a total of 4 ASI inputs to support multiple satellite receivers.
Add one (1) 8VSB demodulator card to build multicasts from local off-air broadcast TV signals.
Add two (2) 8VSB demodulator cards to build a multicast from two (2) off-air broadcast TV and satellite signals for
additional HD or SD content.
