The WEGENER Unity 200 is an economical, high performance MCPC satellite music receiver targeted to meet the needs of the private business music market. The Unity 201 is uniquely positioned to provide a range of audio qualities and channels to meet the needs of varying customers.
The 16-character front panel display allows you to select different audio channels based on network authorization. Using COMPEL, WEGENER’s network control system, your network can control the audio service via the Internet using a web browser.
The Web Interface uses the COMPEL virtual networks program to define the level of resources a user can access. The user logon determines the receivers, channel and groups that will be visible for a particular user.
MPEG layer II decoding provides automatic selection of stereo, joint stereo or mono audio on the decoder based on network encoder operation. In addition, audio sampling rates (32, 44.1 and 48 KHz) and data rates from 64-256 Kbps in 64 Kbps steps are supported. The Unity 201 also offers optional audio storage capability, which includes a second audio service output for dual simultaneous service delivery.
