Broadcasters Rely on Wegener iPump 6400 to Deliver Programming to Stations
Since our first roll out with TV Azteca in the early 2000s, we have expanded and grown our broadcast presence in Mexico to include major broadcasters that use our new iPump technology to distribute and regionalize programing throughout Mexico. Our iPump 6400 Professional Broadcast receivers are used by television stations to receive political ads and programming supplied and managed by the government of Mexico.
Wegener’s Compel Network Management system controls program distribution and playout with a smooth mix of live an file-based programming.
The next generation of this product will include transport stream splicing, graphics overlay, and transcoding. Various transport stream outputs will be available as options.
