NSN TO DISTRIBUTE WEGENER DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Products to be Represented Include UNITY Digital Family and COMPEL Control

DULUTH, GA., Oct. 28 Wegener Communications (Nasdaq:WGNR) has announced a distribution agreement for its line of digital audio satellite broadcast products with NSN Network Services,Avon, Colorado.

NSN provides satellite space segment, uplink & receive hardware, and integration services for radio networks around the world.

Among the products to be represented by NSN are Wegener Communications new UNITY line of MCPC multimedia receivers. The UNITY product line is capable of audio, video & data. NSN will also represent Wegener's SCPC audio line including the DM 196 variable rate modulator and the DR96Q variable rate QPSK receiver. NSN will also have rights to represent COMPEL, Wegener's patented network control system. COMPEL provides networks with unparalleled ability to regionalize programming & commercials through total receiver control. COMPEL also allows network operators to remote control uplinks. COMPEL software works with both the UNITY & SCPC audio product lines.
