TURNER BROADCASTING ORDERS WEGENER DIGITAL VIDEO
*CNN Expands Digital Satellite Newsgathering* Duluth, GA. -- December 22, 1997 -- Wegener Corporation (NASDAQ: WGNR), announced it has received an order from Turner Broadcasting for its DVT2001 and DVR2000 digital video equipment. This equipment is utilized by Turner Broadcasting for CNN's digital satellite newsgathering activities. The order totals fourteen DVT2001 encoders and twenty-two DVR2000 receivers.
