January 23, 1998 - Duluth, GA: Wegener Corporation (NASDAQ: WGNR) has announced its registration as an ISO 9001 company. This confirms that Wegener Communications' policies & procedures adhere to the International Standards Organization's (ISO) most demanding quality guidelines.

Only a small percentage of U.S. companies are registered with the ISO, and even fewer are recognized as ISO 9001 companies. ISO 9001 encompasses all company operations, including quality control, product inspection, contract reviews, design development, employee training & customer support.
