WEGENER INTRODUCES UNITY™401 RECEIVER

November 17, 1998 - Duluth, GA: Wegener Corporation (NASDAQ: WGNR) announced the introduction of the UNITY™ 401 receiver for private network distribution. The UNITY™ 401 provides DVB compliant MPEG-2 digital video operating in either SCPC or MCPC modes from 2.5 to 50 MB, as well as audio and data in one unit. Each receiver can be configured to output combinations of video, audio and data for business broadcast as well as distance learning applications.
