Duluth, GA – February 18, 1999 – Wegener Corporation (NASDAQ: WGNR), announced it has received orders for digital compression equipment including series DVT digital video encoders and UNITY4000 receivers from Mobile Satellite Connection. This equipment is being installed in transportable uplinks for satellite transmissions of The Golf Channel’s 1999 live tournament telecasts in the United States.
