CNN CHOOSES WEGENER / DIVICOM FOR INTERNATIONAL LINKS
IBC, Amsterdam, Netherlands -- September 13, 1999 -- Wegener Corporation (NASDAQ: WGNR), announced it has received an order from Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. for ENVOY encoders/modulators, UNITY4422 IRDs, and DiviCom (NASDAQ: CUBE) digital video encoders. This equipment will be utilized by Turner Broadcasting System for CNN video links to Atlanta from London, Moscow, and Jerusalem, plus digital satellite newsgathering activities.
