A Desktop System to Create Media Content

NAB, Las Vegas -- April 8, 2003 --– WEGENER Corporation (Nasdaq: WGNR) today introduced MediaPlan i/o, a Media Ingest System to encode, store, edit and add Metadata to media content.

MediaPlan i/o teams a professional video/audio encoder with a user-friendly system for adding Metadata, all contained in a desktop package. The product converts analog audio/video to media files. Professional level MPEG encoding is built-in, with easy-to-use video editing features. Content that is already encoded may be transcoded among more than eight formats.
