WEGENER RECEIVES $700,000 ORDER
FROM ROBERTS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK

(February 22, 2005) - DULUTH, Georgia – WEGENER Corporation (Nasdaq: WGNR), a leading provider of television, audio and data distribution networks worldwide, announced a recent $700,000 order from Roberts Communications Network for equipment to expand its Direct-To-Home (DTH) small dish satellite delivery platform.

The equipment is used as a part of Roberts Communications Network’s expanded DTH platform and upgrades their total capacity to 50 channels. The DTH platform provides channel capacity for live retransmissions of greyhound, harness and thoroughbred racing events throughout the United States, as well as a variety of other niche programming.
