WEGENER introduces a new line of content ingest tools for file-based workflow and broadcast solutions.
MediaPlan i/o Contributor and MediaPlan i/o Creator are advanced tools for encoding video files, translating existing digital files, metadata authoring, and the creation of robust digital assets, in preparation for use within WEGENER iPump media server networks.
The MediaPlan™ i/o Contributor stations will encode either real time or tape based video into MPEG-2 files. The on-board video editor provides frame level ‘trimming’ and other manipulations to the digitized files, and a host of utility programs allow conversion from one file format to another. The Contributor lends it to being used at multiple, geographically dispersed contribution sites, such as, a large news gathering organization wishing to accept news footage from contributing affiliates.
