MediaPlan i/o Contributor and MediaPlan i/o Creator are advanced tools for encoding video files, translating existing digital files, metadata authoring, and the creation of robust digital assets, in preparation for use within WEGENER iPump media server networks.
The MediaPlan™ i/o Creator encodes real time and tape based video into MPEG-2 files, and includes support for high definition video and MPEG-4 (H.264) video compression. The on-board video editor provides frame level ‘trimming’ and other manipulations to the digitized files, and a host of utility programs allow conversion from one file format to another. It allows operators to deliver very high quality video, while minimizing transmission and storage bandwidth. Each Creator station accepts video via a SDI/HDSDI interface. Audio is accepted in digital as well as analog form. MediaPlan i/o Creator also includes an upgraded, feature rich video editor.
